Briana Alexis is a professional guitar player and songwriter based in Los Angeles, California. Her musical journey began when she was privileged to study guitar with legendary late jazz guitarist, Ted Greene.   Shortly after, she moved to L.A. to attend The Dick Grove School of Music Academy where she also appeared in their national ad campaigns.

Briana’s projects have spanned a wide variety of musical styles. Her music has been placed on several independent film projects as well as trade shows and commercials.  She has also served as musical director and continues to produce, write and compose in her home studio.

Her credits include performing with popular female bands along with appearing in numerous projects as guest guitarist over a twenty-year span. In addition to writing her own music, she has written and produced a series of children’s albums overseas.

Her most recent project includes, L.A. based female original rock band ABSINTHE. The band performs regularly with national acts at premiers, fundraisers and charities. The band has won several awards and received rave reviews.

Not surprisingly she has graced the pages of Guitar Player Magazine, appeared in books, music trade magazines, commercials, websites and asked to appear on panels for guitar competitions. Briana was featured in the July 2012 online issue of Guitar World as the top Ten “Female Guitarist You Should Know About.”

Briana proudly represents 13 different music equipment manufacturers and is excited to embark upon her upcoming series of recording projects.
